Music Analysis

Before being able to create music automatically or to be able to set up musical transformations it will be necessary to be able to analyze the existing music.

The mathematical model used here comes from a musical theory called “The theory of tonal gravitation” conceived by Emanuele Di Mauro. The results of the theory are interesting because there is no longer the notion of tonality, and it is replaced by a more powerful notion adapted to computer calculation.

It is difficult to explain here the principles of the theory, but you can contact me in case you are interested.
